The U.S.S Voyager was to go to a part of space which was called the Badland's to track down a reble ship which call themselfs the Maquis. The Badlands are a very dangerous place because of the plasma storms. Which makes it a very good place for the Maquis hide as sensors are very poor in there.

As they entered the Badlands and began to scan for the Maquis an energy ribbon came from behind and knocked them 70,000 light years away from their original location. The Ship was badly damaged and many were killed like the Doctor and his nurse and the first officer. Many others were killed.

When they got sensors on-line they found the ship they were looking for but no crew. Then suddenly all of the Voyager Crew were beamed aboard an arry which both ships flooted next to. To know the rest you must watch the video.
